Bodyveda Pro Ltd (trading as Bodyveda) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law. Please read it carefully before submitting an enquiry or booking a consultation.
Who we are
Bodyveda Pro Ltd is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 16857589) and trade as Bodyveda. Our principal place of business is in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. You can contact us at [email protected].
What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the following information: your first and last name; your email address; your phone number; your preferred consultation format (in person or online); a description of your health concerns; how you heard about us (optional); and confirmation of the consent declarations you completed on the form. We do not collect payment card details through this website — payment is handled separately at the time of booking.
Why we collect it and the legal basis
We collect your information to respond to your enquiry, confirm and arrange your consultation, and provide you with the Ayurvedic consultation service you have requested. The legal basis for processing your contact details is legitimate interests — specifically, to communicate with prospective and existing clients. The legal basis for processing health information you share with us is your explicit consent, given through the consent declarations on the enquiry form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected], though this will not affect any processing already carried out.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to manage your enquiry and, if you proceed, to deliver your consultation and any follow-up support. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Health information
Information about your health is classed as special category data under UK GDPR. We treat it with the highest level of care. It is used only to prepare for and deliver your consultation, and is not shared with any third party without your explicit consent, except where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep your information
We retain your enquiry and consultation records for a period of seven years from the date of your last contact with us. This is in line with standard practice for health-related records and our legal obligations. After this period, your records are securely deleted.
How we store and protect your information
Your enquiry is transmitted securely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered to our private email inbox. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information (subject to any legal obligations to retain it); object to or restrict our processing of your information; and withdraw consent for processing health information at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
